Professor Sharon Pittman, the former Vice Chancellor (VC) of Malawi Adventist University (MAU), has bid farewell to Malamulo College of Health Sciences (MCHS). In her farewell message, Professor Pittman expressed her deep gratitude to Malamulo College for the unwavering support she received during her tenure. She extended her best wishes to the college for success in all its programs.

The Biomedical Sciences department laboratory at Malamulo College of Health Sciences has been equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. This new addition enables the laboratory to perform complex tests that were previously not possible.

On May 30, 2024, Mr. Jonathan Majamanda, the head of the Biomedical Sciences department at Malawi Adventist University, delivered a public lecture at Burnham Hall, Malamulo College of Health Sciences. His presentation focused on a study he conducted regarding the factors influencing health-seeking behaviors of snakebite victims living around selected tea plantations in Thyolo district, Malawi.

The Medical Council of Malawi (MCM) recently visited Malamulo College of Health Sciences (MCHS). This visit, which was not announced in advance, provided an opportunity for the council to assess the college's recent developments. The MCM praised MCHS for the significant improvements made in various areas, including infrastructure, curricula, and internet access.

During the visit, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of MCHS expressed gratitude to the MCM for its ongoing support and positive feedback, highlighting the council's role in fostering the college's growth and development.
