Malamulo College Students Donate Over 3.5 Million Kwacha in Winter Project

On Sunday, students from Malawi Adventist University's Malamulo Campus visited communities under Group Village Headman Mafunga in Thyolo Thava, donating assorted items worth over 3.5 million kwacha. Dr. Pastor G. Thumbalamoto, the students' chaplain at Malamulo College of Health Sciences, highlighted that this initiative is part of their annual "Winter Project," which aims to instill a spirit of giving among students. He praised the students and the university community for their contributions and encouraged Malawians to support one another in times of need.

The donation included 170 blankets, 50 mats, clothing, sanitary pads, maize flour, soya pieces, usipa (dried fish), cooking oil, and exercise books. Group Village Headman Mafunga expressed his gratitude, noting that the blankets were particularly needed during the cold weather and would provide significant relief to his community.
